Dr. Clemon Dabney III (CEO)
Dr. Dabs, as most people know him in the industry by, is a cannabis scientist, educator, and industry leader with a Ph.D. in Cannabis Molecular Genetics and Genomics.
His career has been dedicated to advancing the understanding of cannabis through scientific research, genetic analysis, and consumer education.
As the founder of Doctor Dabs Corp, Clemon has built a customer-focused dispensary experience centered on knowledge, transparency, and personalized guidance. He believes that every customer deserves more than just access to products—they deserve a clear understanding of how cannabis works, how different cultivars are developed, and how specific cannabinoid and terpene profiles may influence their experience.
The Integrator
Avery Dorsett (COO)
As Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner of Dabney's Cannabis Co., Avery brings more than 10 years of high-level management and operational leadership to the company. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing efficient business operations, leading high-performing teams, and creating systems that support sustainable growth.
As a part owner, Avery is committed to the long-term success of Dabney's Cannabis Co. and to helping shape a cannabis business that values integrity, innovation, education, and community engagement. His hands-on leadership style and dedication to continuous improvement have been instrumental in establishing operational standards that support the company's mission and future growth.
The Architect
Todd Jeffers
After a long career in accounting, Todd is now retired—but he’s certainly not sitting still. With a natural talent for problem-solving and a nearly lifelong ability to figure out how to build, fix, and improve just about anything, Todd has become an invaluable part of bringing Dabney’s Cannabis Co. to life.
From helping solve construction challenges to figuring out the practical details that make a new business come together, Todd has been the kind of person who can look at a problem, scratch his head for a minute, and somehow come up with a solution.
Todd’s contributions behind the scenes have played an important role in helping build Dabney’s Cannabis Co. from an idea into a place we’re proud to open.
